I was standing with my back to the TV when I heard the familiar voice of President George W. Bush. I didn't think much of it, until I noticed that his jabbering was far more insane and incomprehensible than usual. I turned and discovered that it wasn't George Bush talking.
It was Charles Manson.
I'm not mentioning this as a criticism on President Bush. My motivation for bringing up the similarity is complete divorced from my attitudes regarding his politics and skills as our nation's Chief Executive. It's just so damn weird that I can't keep it to myself.
That being said, George Bush and Charles Manson have remarkably similar voices and share some mannerisms. Check it out sometime. It's a little more pronounced in relatively recent Manson "appearances" and when the crazy mo-fo isn't too agitated.
(Sometimes, he sounds a little more like a cross between Bush and Willie Nelson.)
It appears as if at least two other people have noticed this. Not that I need external validation of my aural opinions or anything, but it's nice to know I'm not alone.

i was listening to a song that had charles manson talking in it and i thought it was george bush hmm... i will have fun with this
ReplyDeleteNoticed it on YouTube Charlie Rose interview and found this blog after searching for others with the same observation. Maybe Barbara Bush has a dark, dark, secret.
ReplyDeletethis is the first site that came up after googling charles manson sounds like george bush
ReplyDeleteI also did notice this. I think Crowly had an affair with Mansons mother that would make him Bushes Uncle!
ReplyDeletei absolutely agree
ReplyDeleteI'm mostly conservative and I forgave Bush's foibles as much as I could, but this was one thing that I also noticed. It made me think that there must be some personalities that share similar gestures when they speak.
ReplyDeleteBush was a no-nonsense, direct and cut-to-the-chase personality with a mix of the fun uncle inside. Had Manson received a better upbringing, he probably could have lead people in a similar way as Bush.
After a revival of Charles Manson press, with his latest parole hearings, I too have come to those exact same connections. And what scares me the most about it is how much authority can be awarded to such heart-felt conviction on both sides. Both presenting themselves as martyrs and visionaries against the tide. They're both products of their system and yet they seem to be the type of enemy that society needs. And I won't even mention the die-hard fans...
ReplyDeleteit's a time travel thing :P
ReplyDeleteI noticed it too! Maybe same style of souls in different bodies. Or the same person. I thought I was alone as well on the matter.
ReplyDeleteIlluminati babies i.e. probably blood related
ReplyDeleteim a bush and I don,t mean that im made of wood like you would like to think you idiot.the difference between manson and bush is about 8 inches in height, how would you like to get hypatitis c you jerk, I would love to give it to you.u talk like a man with a paper asshole, you never really suffered much in your life, have you?you bitch.
ReplyDeleteI was listening to a podcast that had audio clips from Manson and was trying to think of who he sounded like. Then it dawned on me who it was... Bush. So I did a Google search on "charles manson sounds like george bush" or something similar and found this page. I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who noticed this.
ReplyDeleteI just googled Manson sounds like Bush because I’m watching a true crime on the family and wondered why George W. bush was in it. Turned out to be Manson I was hearing, but I’d stepped out of the room and couldn’t see.
ReplyDeleteI was just watching a documentary on Manson. Heard his voice…. And noticed right off he sounded just like Bush!
